Michelle Gibson

Michelle joined the Rugby League World Cup 2021 team in January 2018 as Company Secretary.

Michelle is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, the professional body for governance, and graduated in 2003 from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management.

Michelle joined the Rugby Football League in 2004 as Executive Assistant to the Chairman, before also taking on the role of Executive Assistant to CEO. During this time Michelle was responsible for supporting the RFL Board members and the organisation of the sport’s shareholder meetings and key events.

Michelle also runs an online business to support and mentor administrative professionals and most recently was a finalist for Pitman’s ‘2018 Super Achievers’.
