Former Bradford Bulls star Robbie Hunter-Paul is RLWC2021’s Mental Fitness Ambassador. 

The Tokoroa born star represented New Zealand between 1997 and 2006 earning 33 caps for the Kiwis, including helping them reach the 2000 Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford. 

The former half-back retired from Rugby League in 2011, after a decorated career which saw him record over 200 appearances for Bradford Bulls prior to stints at Huddersfield, Salford and Leigh. The 45-year-old captained the Bulls to the domestic treble in 2003, and was also awarded the Lance Todd Trophy in 1996 after becoming the first player to score a hat-trick of tries in a Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. 

Hunter-Paul has obtained a wealth of experience since retiring and is a familiar face to tournament partners Movember and Rugby League Cares, having worked closely on number of impactful mental fitness programmes including the Offload Programme, Back Onside, All Onside and the Ahead Of The Game programme.
